ST. LOUIS, Miss - This past weekend was Chevrolet's Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix and it was full of prime racing action! One of the most exciting events was the Tudor series and two drivers in particular whom have made Chevrolet very proud! The Taylor Brothers Won the TUDOR United Sportscar Race at Belle Isle after some VERY intense closing laps. The No. 10 Konica Minolta Corvette Daytona Prototype was able to withstand the nudges and slams from No. 5 Action Express Racing Corvette DP, driven by Joao Barbosa. It wasn't until after Barbosa's vehicle experienced a puncture that Ricky Taylor was able to take the lead once and for all. After Team Chevy and the Taylor Brothers Won the TUDOR United Sportscar Race at Belle Isle, they headed off to France for the mandatory test session for the upcoming 24 Hours of Le Mans. Jordan Taylor will be driving the Corvette C7.R for Corvette Racing, hoping to acquire the eighth class victory at the French road race. Ricky will compete in a Morgan-Judd LM P2 car for Larbre Compeititon.
A big "Congratulations" is in order for the Taylor brothers! Way to make Chevrolet proud and show others what a Chevy Corvette can really do! Good luck on your future races, Jordan and Ricky!
