National Corvette Museum Begins Track Work at Motorsports Park

ST. LOUIS, Miss - The National Corvette Museum Begins Track Work at Motorsports Park, located right next to the museum and GM's Bowling Green Assembly plant. Work on the Motorsports Park began last July and has been a continuous project ever since. The most recent addition - the laying of 4 mile-long asphalt track, which will be used as a skidpad and for autocross events. After the construction crew completes this task, it will be time to install guard rails on the inside of the track and perform lime stabilization for the base of the racing surface and runoff areas. Being that the awful weather seems to be behind us (hopefully), construction on the Motorsports Park is beginning to happen at a more rapid pace.
